Maple Grove Lacrosse

For 2012, players in grades 7 through 12 are eligible to make a Freshman/Sophomore, Junior Varsity, or Varsity roster.  Coaching philosophy is to place players on a team commensurate with their ability that provides them the best chance to develop in conjunction with their personal goals.  7th and 8th graders should consult a member of the coaching staff for further information and guidance.

2012 placements will be March 26th through March 30th with time and locations posted on the calendar.  Please review carefully.

Options for 7th/8th graders:

1)  Attend placements the last week of March for an opportunity to make one of the high school teams.  Practices and games run Monday through Saturday with an expected commitment from the player.

2) Participate in the MBSLA 7th/8th Spring league.  Typically one or two practices per week with games on Saturdays and Sundays.

All 7/8th grade players should register for the Spring 7/8th season only regardless of their intent to tryout for High School or not.  Adjustments will be made at a later date for those who do place in the High School program.
